Sarika Garg is a contemporary artist with over two decades of practice, exploring emotion, spirituality and inner stillness through abstract expression. Trained in Commercial Art at South Delhi Polytechnic for Women and a graduate of the University of Delhi, she combines formal artistic foundations with an intuitive visual language.
Her signature works bring together black, gold and vibrant hues, layered forms and textures to create meditative compositions that invite introspection, balance and emotional connection. Practising since 1998, her artistic journey has evolved from structured expression towards increasingly fluid and contemplative abstraction.
Her work has been exhibited at prominent venues including Lalit Kala Akademi, India Habitat Centre, AIFACS, Stainless Gallery and National School of Drama, with international participation including the Nepal Embassy Art Festival. Her works are held in private collections across India, USA, Switzerland, Dubai and Norway.
A recipient of the Creative Expression Award and Bhartiya Seva Ratna – Jewel of Indian Service, Sarika has also contributed to art education through workshops and served as a jury member for various educational and social institutions.
Through her art, Sarika continues to explore the space between the visible and the unseen, creating works that encourage pause, reflection and a deeper connection with the self.
