Ekta Adwani is an independent contemporary artist based in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, whose practice explores the interplay of colour, form, geometry, movement and emotion. Working primarily on canvas, she creates abstract, geometric and symbolic compositions that balance structure with expressive freedom.
Colour is central to Ekta’s visual language, enabling her to explore mood, energy, harmony and perception. Her evolving practice moves between contemporary abstraction, geometric structures and spiritually inspired imagery, often creating a space where the visible meets the intuitive.
Drawing inspiration from nature, everyday observations, symbolism, spirituality and the inner world, Ekta creates works that encourage viewers to pause, interpret and discover their own associations and meanings.
For Ekta, abstraction provides a language for expressing ideas and emotions that cannot always be articulated through words or realistic imagery. Geometry brings structure to her compositions, while colour, movement and organic forms introduce fluidity and emotional depth.
Her art becomes a process of translating thought, emotion and energy into visual form—creating works that remain open to individual interpretation.
